Very happy with the check in as friendly staff in the pub showed us to our room. Great room amenities with telly, fridge, tea tray, filtered water and coffee machine. Bed was very comfortable, lovely decor and very spacious room. Not too noisy even though we were on the main road as had secondary double glazing. Fantastic location as it took 30 mins to walk to Brixton Academy, 20 min walk to the Thames and Westminster, 20 min bus to London Bridge or Victoria.
Only constructive criticism would be that toiletries weren’t topped up so we got the last squeeze of shower gel and soap before they ran out. Also the shower screen wasn’t sealed so when you shower it leaks all over the floor. Also a full length mirror in the bedroom would be useful. If being really picky, the bed linen (although crisp and clean) was a little rough. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again as it was great value. Thank you to everyone at Ship Rooms. Five stars!
