Never again!

The hotel itself is lovely, but my ground floor room was a big letdown. Constant street noise and guests smoking right outside the window made it impossible to open the windows or curtains. On top of that, the front desk staff were arrogant. The shower taps were broken. Disappointing overall.

Unprofessional Service and Poor Experience at Hote

My experience at Hotel Rose Sonder was unacceptable. After confirming an extension of two additional nights with the receptionist on the morning of August 19th, another staff member came to my room at 23:00 insisting that I leave, claiming they were unable to process the extension. Being disturbed late at night and asked to leave after an agreed arrangement was both humiliating and highly unprofessional. The staff’s behavior was rude and disrespectful, showing no regard for the basic standards of hospitality. In addition, the breakfast—charged at €15 per person—is extremely poor in both quality and variety.

The aircon wasn't working because the window was not closing properly. We asked for the air con to be sorted afyer the first night and returned to a room with the window left wide open. After complaining this was sorted. It also wasn't very accessible as there are steps up to the property and the stair lift didn't cover them all or work consistently.

Lovely hotel, really clean and great location. Loved the self service aspect of getting towels and extras for the room. Little details stopped me from giving it 5 stars. One of the mattresses in the room was saggy and needed replacing. The TV remote control didn’t work and wasn’t fixed or replaced despite me asking twice. A mini fridge in the room would have been helpful.

Ein wunderbares Hotel! Die Lage ist toll zwischen Wasser und Innenstadt, alle Architektur Highlights sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Hotel selbst ist niedlich eingerichtet, sehr modern. Gerne wieder

Top! Gute Lage, nur ein paar Schritte zur Ablagestelle für Hafenrundtour und super Rooftop-Bar und auch noch fußläufig zum Bahnhof. Braille-Schrift, Rollstuhlrampe, Kaffee und Wasser ganztägig, Bequeme Betten, Gepäckschließfächer und freundliches Personal. Lediglich die ständigen Mails zum Vorab-Einchecken haben mich genervt. Sie haben den Eindruck vermittelt, dass es ohne nicht geht. Ärgerlich, wenn es aber technisch nicht funktioniert. Man kann übrigens ganz normal auch vor Ort einchecken.
