Super friendly and nice staff
Extremely accommodating, helping to look for a lost item after we left. They are upgrading the rooms and still needs some work in the bathroom, but otherwise super comfortable and great value. Parking was no problem.

Average stay
The hotel is in a wonderful location and appears to have history. However it was a pretty average stay. A bit disappointed that when I arrived just after 3 my room was not ready and that they didn’t have parking passes left. Overall condition needs some work and it wasn’t super clean.

Beach front room.
This was an excellent location however some of the rooms amenities need to be upgraded. The TV had many burned out LEDS, towel racks or hooks in the bathroom would also be helpaul, but it is a very beautiful, clean historic property right on the Strand. I would stay again.

It was right by the beach - perfect to see the sunset 🌞. Lot of restaurants and bars near the hotel.

We loved this place!!
Talk about getting the beach experience. Location is right on the sand. Once you get your parking pass, there is no need to drive anywhere. All restaurants, entertainment and shopping are within walking distance. Room was ultra clean and the bed was comfortable. We’ll be back.

“Beautiful Hotel with Stunning Views
Here’s a polished review for your hotel stay: I had a great experience at this hotel overall. The property is large and well-maintained, with a fantastic view of the beach that made my stay truly relaxing. The location is excellent, close to everything I needed. However, I was disappointed with the shower—it felt very old and cramped, which didn’t match the otherwise high standard of the hotel. Still, I would recommend it for the view and location alone!

This unit had an absolutely fabulous view. Right outside the door was the strand, sand and the ocean. The room was very spacious including a kitchen and sitting room. This is a converted apartment building in which still needs a few upgrades, such as windows. Our window did not close completely and it was a windy evening. Also, this is not very handicapped assessable. There are steps entering into the building. And there was not any parking. But the owner accommodated us and provided a parking space next to the building. My husband uses a walker and this was great for us. We only stayed 1 night, but would have loved to stay longer.

Hidden Gem right on the beach
Beautiful historic hotel right on the beach. Our room was large and beautifully restored. We love being right on the beach right next to dining and shopping. The front manager was very kind and helpful. The windows in the room looked out towards the beach we loved having the view. They’re still in the process of renovating. The windows in the room have not been replaced and were very dangerous for kids. I guarantee they’re high on the list of things to be renovated soon. If you have toddlers I’d check if they were replaced or not before you book or make sure your room is on the first floor. We would definitely stay here again. This hotel has so much character and charm. The updates the owners are doing are beautiful and historically accurate. A total hidden gem.

Great location
You can’t beat the location! Right across from the sandy beach. I loved the charm of the old building. Our room was very clean. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Parking was inconvenient. I would stay here again.

The property is very old and does need a remodel, but was clean enough. Many of the rooms are apartments so be prepared for noise from kids, etc. We were on the ground floor so maybe upper rooms are better. Parking is on the street.

Excellent location
This is a great property. Excellent location right by restaurants, clubs, and shops. Walk out the door, and you're on the beach! Highly recommended.

This building is almost 100 years old so take that into consideration when you book. They are doing some renovation to bring it back but still have some things to finish. The space is roomy like an efficiency apt. There are year round renters as well as vacationers. The rooms are very clean. The owner Jay and employee John were extremely nice and helpful. It is in a great location and near everything. We enjoyed our time. Again, it’s very old so make sure this is what you’re looking for. It’s not an upscale updated hotel as they’re keeping it as original as possible. Enjoy your stay.
