This hotel was lovely. The staff was fantastic. Special shout out to restaurant manager Dee who is amazing at her job and clearly loves it.
However, anytime I use hotels.com there is an issue. No matter how nice the hotel, I always get a room that feels less than. And if something goes wrong and you book through a third party, the hotel can’t do much.
For example, house keeping never turned off the alarm in our room and it woke us up at 6am. Then at 9 am, house keeping just full on came into our room, despite the do not enter door knob sign. I did mention it to the front desk and they said they’d give me 3,000 points, but that’s 18 dollars…but they never did add the points. I plan to contact hotels.com customer service, but I don’t have much hope!
The hotel was in a fancy to us area. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The air conditioner was very loud and road noise was also loud, so I’d request a room not on the highway side.
All in all, I’d stay here again, but would not book through hotels.com.
