Older building with nice room renovations

Within walking distance of MLB airport, I booked 2 nights while visiting the area. The room was very clean with great furnishings, and had a very light "clean" scent. Both the bed and the desk chair were very comfortable, and the bathroom was small but new and functional. My initial impression was an old building with old carpet -- but the carpet looked new, it just had that musty/dank smell like it needed a carpet cleaning. Check-in was a bit more problematic. The attendant did not seem knowledgeable/comfortable with their job yet. Multiple problems getting my credit card charged the $100 deposit. And then the next day I was stuck outside in a rainstorm because my key didn't work. Turned-out at check-in the lady validated the room card for 1 day, not the 2 that I paid for. I would definitely stay there again.

Great overnight stay.

This is a great hotel, so close to the airport! The rooms are newly remodeled and beautiful. Shower was terrific. Very quiet. AC did not work quite right, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. The exterior needs a lot of work, but perhaps that’s to come. Overall, we were overjoyed we booked it. Again, you can see the airport from the hotel.
