Self check-in and out went on smoothly. Location is excellent, near to many attractions and alleys to explore. Owner provides local information and guide to help us around.

On the first night upon returning to the apartment, we realised that we were locked out of our room. The digital lock failed to work. Tried many times and ended up calling their helpline. Was told over the phone that because we tried too many times so the lock needed to “rest” before we try again. I insisted on having someone come check the lock and they sent someone. Kudos to this gentlemen who came and changed battery to the lock (which should have been checked before we am checked in). He even brought us beer to apologise for the inconvenience.
While we thought that problem was solved, the toilet bowl was choked the next day. We could only flush the toilet once every few hours and we’re also limited to doing only number 1. Since it was our last night, we didn’t bother getting help for it.
To add on, the staff there are generally rude, not acknowledging your presence when you’re going up or down the stairs (not even a simple good morning or a smile, or even eye contact). We felt like we’re imposing even though we’re paying customers.
In general, this apartment is used fund their failing art gallery, which hardly had any visitors during our stay there.
