Ibiza Town is the island's buzzing capital, famous for its eclectic nightlife, charming old quarter, and exquisite bars and restaurants. Situated above the town's busy harbour, the Dalt Vila is steeped in history, with its renaissance-era fortifications overlooking the azure seas below. Surrounding these imposing walls is the atmospheric Sa Penya, a former fisherman’s quarter that’s now home to a dazzling array of restaurants, bars, and shops.
While the stunning Catedral de Santa María is perhaps the town's best-known landmark, coming in a close second has to be Pacha – the island's oldest 'superclub'. Built around the shell of an old farmhouse, the vast nightclub has been running since 1973.
