Excellent one night stay over. Very friendly check in and sorted my couple of issues out immediately.
Food was absolutely incredible. Even more so when the cost of 2 courses was just £23. Lamb and mint gravy with the Shepherd's Pie was amazing. Will certainly stay again.

We were not aware but we had booked the 'Romantic Package'- bottle of bubbly waiting for us and a box of chocolates, a lovely surprise. Delightful room with 4 poster bed. Ate in the evening, extensive menu and excellent food. Good breakfast and Buck's Fizz came with our package. Excellent service from everyone, good value for money. Very popular with locals so advisable to book a table if you want to eat there.

Lovely country hotel deserving of its awards. Super staff, despite their youth.
Fabulous candle-lit bar area is cosy and inviting, log burner for Autumn adding warmth.
Enjoyed dinner one night, although more than one vegetarian option would be most welcome! The Star nearby is a great option for eating too.
The small swimming pool is very clean and warm, I’d hate to see the heating bill!
Very minded to return soon.

Beautiful place to stay, hosts were amazing, breakfast was served to order.
The room was perfect, we opted for a room with a bath, it was a roll top bath, perfect to soak the aches away from a day of exploring.
Located slightly out of the main part of town, about a 10 min walk.
We couldnt fault the place.

Nice property. Quiet with a comfortable bed. It’s at West Cliff, about 20 minutes walk from the station.
It’s technically near the beach but the cliff lift is out of action so it’s a walk to get there. The quietness is the problem as the area feels residential. To get into Whitby is a fair walk down. There is a cost cutters with cash point at the roundabout, a cash only Chinese on the cliff top road and a bar (which was rude when I went in). There are ice cream vans about but you have to walk...
