I had to keep calling front desk for essential needs that are supposed to be supplied by the hotel room … absolutely no face towels I had to go to the store & buy my own the host was terrible I booked on hotels.com but was an Airbnb

The accommodation provided was completely unacceptable, unsafe, and far below any reasonable standard.
Upon arrival, we immediately encountered issues with the check-in process. Despite having full confirmation details, the property claimed they could not locate our reservation. The receptionist was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful, refusing to properly assist or resolve the issue.
Once we eventually accessed the room, the condition was extremely poor:
• The room was visibly dirty, with hairs and mug stains throughout.
• The bed itself had hair on it, and the pillows were flat, old, and clearly not properly maintained.
• The walls and ceiling were damp, with visible crumbling and deterioration.
• The bathroom was in a similarly unacceptable state, with very low water pressure, and the ceiling flaking directly into the bathtub.
More concerning, there were serious safety issues:
• The door to the room did not close properly, which is a significant fire and security hazard (videos attached).
• After returning from dinner, we found our room door wide open. Someone had clearly entered the room, and a fan had been plugged in and left running—this item was not present when we initially entered. This is deeply alarming and a major breach of security and privacy.
I have photographic and video evidence supporting all of the above.
This experience was distressing, unacceptable, and did not meet even basic standards of cleanliness, safety, or customer service.
