Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Haneda Airport - Directly connected to Haneda Airport Terminal 3

Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Haneda Airport - Directly connected to Haneda Airport Terminal 3

10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel and extremely convenient! Directly connected to Haneda Airport Terminal 3 is a plus location for this hotel. Coming or going through it, this hotel makes your stress go down to zero when traveling through this airport. Spacious rooms, with many amenities to help ease the stress of being in a plane for many hours. Staff was readily available to assist and there is everything you can think of just outside the hotel entrance. Dinning, shopping, transportation. You can actually get to explore the airport that is made to be as user friendly as possible. Both the hotel and the airport are made to make the visitors feel like they arrived in Japan already, even before exiting the premises. I would recommend this hotel for a stop and relax night before continuing after or before dealing with a long flight, or connecting ones if time permits. Loved it!"

Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel

Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"I enjoyed everything about this hotel! Honestly, I could have stayed at the hotel all day without going out if we didn’t already have plans. The hotel was extremely clean and provided everything we needed, including pajamas, slippers, and toiletries. The staff was very nice and helpful, and everyone we encountered spoke English, which made communication easy. Some days were rainy, and the hotel even provided umbrellas for guests to use when needed. The hotel has an on-site restaurant and a 24-hour FamilyMart, which was extremely convenient. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe, and the subway station was right across the street, making it easy to get around. It was also only three stops away from Disney, which was perfect for us! One of my favorite things was the bathhouse and steam room. After a long day of sightseeing and walking around Japan, it was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and reset. I loved this hotel so much that I can’t see myself staying anywhere else when visiting Japan. This will definitely be my go-to hotel every time I go back!"

APA Hotel & Resort Ryogoku Ekimae Tower

10/10 Excellent
"Excellent hotel! Staff was very helpful, although we were there for just 3 nights they were always available if needed. The hotel check in was fast and smooth even when there was a lot of people when we arrived. Rooms were super clean and confortable. Very convenient location, so close to the station. Convenience store on the hotel premises for anything extra you might need. Door to door closeness to a museum and a sumo dome for short walk visits. We loved it! I would love to stay there again any time!"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Tokyo

  1. Book for the cheapest times: For budget travellers seeking affordable adventures, Tokyo offers great value for money, particularly during January, August, and September when hotel rates may drop to lower prices. A stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal for exploring the city's key landmarks, history, and cultural attractions. Visitors can enjoy a wealth of experiences from historic temples and fascinating museums to impressive monuments and urban architecture, along with charming shopping districts, vibrant cultural scenes, and the beauty of natural parks and seasonal flowers, all while remaining on a budget.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers excellent options to Tokyo travellers seeking savings. You may discover attractive hotel deals in the DealsOpens in a new window section, while last-minute offers in the Last-Minute Deals area could suit spontaneous plans. The Smart Shopping tool via the app provides a handy way to compare hotel prices and amenities, potentially leading you to more hotel recommendations across Japan. Enable email alerts or push notifications to stay updated on flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you're likely to see opportunities for a last-minute getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal for your stay in a Tokyo hotel. If you're interested in unique accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and can sometimes offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative, more affordable dates to assist you in discovering a better option.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be pricier, but thanks to Tokyo's outstanding public transport system, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located further afield that remains well-connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less congested neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
