A nice, clean, and stylish hotel that gives the impression at first glance that everything is under control.
I choose my hotels based on having a view with a balcony, plus fitness/pool facilities. When I asked for access to the fitness area, I was told it costs 15 euros/day. I was puzzled because this wasn't stated anywhere when I booked it. I pointed out that it should be mentioned, since other hotels specifically note this in their descriptions. I was told it's because fitness isn't included. It's also not mentioned on Hotels.com, and there's no option to add it, so I assumed it was included.
This is misleading advertising and practice.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, but they seemed more like a bunch of students who didn't know much about anything. The breakfast was poorly assembled, boring, and lacking. I had to go into town myself to buy my own breakfast.
The fitness/SPA area was in perfect condition with professional equipment.
On the last night, two school classes from North Macedonia arrived. They partied with a DJ and all that comes with it. At 4:20 AM, I was woken up by a young guy who started in English and began questioning me about who I was and whether I'd been having sex. I hung up on him, and went to reception at 7 AM because I trusted that customer safety and security would be important to the hotel, and therefore they'd have a system logging all phone calls in the building. They didn't.
So hotel guests can freely harass each other here.
