I stayed at the Radisson Hotel in Shanghai and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The reception staff were not welcoming at all. When I asked for a recommendation for a good sushi place, they told me to go outside and ask someone on the street—completely unhelpful and unprofessional.
The room I was given had a dirty bathroom, which was unacceptable. Only two complimentary bottles of water were provided, and any additional water costs 58 yuan, which is absolutely outrageous. For a hotel that’s supposed to be more upscale, the service and amenities felt far below expectations.
I’ve stayed in much cheaper hotels with far better service and more thoughtful hospitality. This Radisson did not live up to its name.
