Canal tour is a must, avoid Insta famous cookie, fries and stroopwafle shops. These are not that great and better more authentic options around. Don't be afraid to use public transport it's easy to use and very safe. Venture a little further out

One thing I will say is that everything is in walking distance and there's so much culture to the place that you would never expect. Head near Centraal station for a great river cruise and pop into some of the museums and get lost and find your way.

Amsterdam is a very safe city, we never see a police officer or patrol car during our time. The people are friendly, lots of bars, restaurants, cafe, coffee and things to do. The public transportation are wonderful and Uber is reasonable. Love it!

Loved seeing all the lovely canals, houseboats, BICYCLES, the Anne Frank House, museums, and international food restaurants. Be sure to check out the Sea Palace: a 3 story floating pagoda serving tasty Chinese food with human and robot servers.

Lovely city - the canals were endless. For those who are sensitive to light, you'll enjoy how dark it gets in the evening. Felt pretty safe. Though touristy people seemed nice. Nice boutique stores and quaint cafes. (Has UK winter weather)

Despite Amsterdam being quite expensive and touristy at the moment, it is a beautiful city full of culture, and easily explored by foot or convenient public transportation. Also close to several charming towns only a short day trip away.
"Staff were incredibly friendly and even assisted with and upgrade when they saw it was a 6 night stay. It was my second time in over 10 years and the property was not only been well maintained it has even improved. Will return in the future. "
"We stayed here for two nights as a family of four and absolutely loved it. The place is clean, quiet, and spacious—more like a suite, with a separate room for the kids, which was perfect for us.
It’s conveniently located just 15 minutes by train from Amsterdam Centraal, with easy access to all major attractions. The staff were welcoming and helpful, adding to the overall great experience.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—it felt like a home away from home."
"Perfect location next to the train station. The property is clean and very modern. It was my second time staying here and I had the same great experience "
