The hotel is next to the cathedral and thankfully the bells do not ring !! We were directed to parking within green lined areas for 1 € per 24 hours - worth checking out !!!
We honestly cannot fault our stay here. The staff, although they said they spoke little English, they were incredibly helpful! The room is what you pay for. It was spacious and had its own private bathroom and it was clean. The room also provided you with towels and some toiletries/toothbrushes which was very handy. The hostel is situated right next to the train line but having said this, we had no disturbance from the trains passing through. In fact I think we even forgot we were next to a...
Smashing hotel. Lift only goes to third floor so if you have mobility issues, request in advance a ground or level 2 and 3 room. No issue for us. The sensor lighting on fourth floor corridor not currently working but this is only an issue at nightfall ie when we arrived. Check in and check out super smooth, reception seems manned at all hours. We didn't take breakfast as there are lots of good cafes and supermarkets nearby.
We loved this quiet character hotel with modern facilities, WiFi and private open air locked car park. Situated centrally, we were even able to pop out later in the evening to see Avila illuminated. Excellent cuisine and very friendly and helpful staff.
This is an amazing town to visit, full of history. The hotel is situated just inside the castle walls of the city. A perfect place to stay and enjoy the surroundings.
Great place for our overnight stay in Avila. Very convenient for restaurants and shops and very clean. We parked close by in a blue zone which is not expensive for a short stay. Would stay again.
