Perfect hotel to relax and enjoy as a couple, especially when using the spa facilities. The staff was amazing and making sure we were having a nice stay. The breakfast buffet was really worth it.

We loved the hotel and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a room with a river view which was an unexpected treat. Food was good , particularly the breakfast. The only niggle was the distance from the city but we used Ubers which were fast and reliable.

Lovely spacious rooms, staff were very helpful and pleasant, breakfast was very good and plentiful. Only ever one bartender so sometimes a longer wait but still very pleasant.

The hotel has a spectacular position overlooking the river and historical centre of Porto. Service was excellent and not overbearing. Breakfast and dining generally were high quality. The outside pool area is lovely. You can walk down to the river direct from the hotel, where there are a lot of bars and restaurants - it is however quite a steep path, so perhaps not suitable for all. Thoroughly recommended.

Fabulous hotel. The staff were extra helpful and friendly - especially Claudia at reception. Nothing was too much trouble. Very highly recommended.

A service

Everything is good unless we don’t know the spa pool has to extra pay for every time and the kids cannot enter the spa pool after 4pm. Other than that, everything is excellent

This is a beautiful boutique hotel well placed on Porto for sightseeing . We had a suite which was fantastic . The staff are superb so friendly helpful and very enthusiastic . The breakfast was very good with excellent service . Would most definitely recommend

Hotel was amazing. Great location and makes you say wow when you enter. The rooms were large and the views of the bridge were amazing (from the room, the restaurant at breakfast, and the bar).

Great hotel close to town. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The hotel has great amenities, good toiletries, great shower. The complimentary sweets, nuts and fruits is a very nice touch. Rooms are well decorated.

Well located hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Free coffee and cake available from about 2PM as you check in. Good sized room. Hotel is actually a part of the historic St. Francis church, so large stone walls in the lobby and restaurant area.

Fantastic stay at Wine and Books Porto

Great hotel to stay close to the centre/Douro. Comfortable rooms, good breakfast and the reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
