You can stroll along Dubrovnik Ferry Port for relaxing water views when you're in Gruz. If you carry on walking you'll get to Gruz Harbor, Lapad Beach, and Bellevue Beach for some more water views.

"Late check in went very smoothly. Amazing breakfast buffet, comfy beds no fitted sheets so the sheet went everything during the night. Also, screen in shower is too small and resulted into flooding half the bathroom. Lovely location on the water and quiet area, far from the bustle of old town Dubrovnik."
"This was our second time visiting the Valamar Tirena and we had the same friendly service as our first visit. The complimentary buffet breakfast had a wide variety of items and we noticed that the hotel provided many activities for families with children of all ages. A great place to relax and enjoy the sun!"

"Really nice hotel close to the port in Dubrovnik. We had a delux room which was spacious and had a good sized bathroom, with an excellent shower. There was a mini bar and tea and coffee, but we had to buy our own tea bags and milk as it was not provided. Only 2 sachets of instant coffee was also disappointing.
The breakfast was excellent, plwnty of variety and a good choice on the hot plates. We had dinner on one of the evenings which was also excellent. We didn't have lunch but the menu looked great value.
I was slightly disappointed that the bar didn't appear to be open in the evening, we xame back at 8.30 one night sat down and were ignored by the waitress that was seemingly on duty.
Overall an excellent hotel with easy connections to the Old Town and the port. "
