We really enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn. Pricing was very affordable and the location was excellent! Walking distance to Penn Station and to the subway, lots of convenience stores, bodegas and restaurants nearby. Size of the room is modest, I think pretty standard for what to expect in New York City. It felt quite tight with two queen beds and no space for our two toddlers to really stretch their legs. The hotel told us they would give us a crib, but never brought us one, and I am glad they didnt, because there would have been no room for it anywhere except maybe in front of the door by the bathroom. Otherwise, the rooms were quiet and peaceful, place was clean, bathroom was updated. Starff were friendly and willing to help, but they were also very busy.
They offered free breakfast and we were pleasantly suprised by the spread and quality of food - good options for hot and cold foods and to-go options like yogurt, fruit, muffins etc.
