We were in the family villa. Overall I would like to give 3.5 stars. Overall, the resort is nicely arranged. As another review said, the hotel is across the elephant heaven, so you get to see some elephants playing around in the morning at the breakfast area.
We met the owner at the cafeteria. The service was great. The breakfast was ok. There wasn't as much variety as the Ananta River Hills (but this place is twice as big). There was a little special snack (ka-nom-tien) on our second day and it was great, we appreciated that..
The room itself is very nicely decorated. It was just that 1) there were bugs and ants in the room; 2) the inside unit of the AC is a little loud; and 3) the room and the bathroom were not totally well maintained, e.g., it was a very slow drain there were holes in the wall
