All the staff from checking in to our room to departure were amazing, supper friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was very clean. Our room was like a suit and we had an unexpected complimentary bottle of Prosecco on arrival ( nice touch) and the complimentarys kept coming with fresh fruit the next day. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Great little hotel surrounded by some of Romes best hotels. A little hidden gem. Great simple breakfast ain a lovely setting. We could literally look at part of the Aurelian Wall out of our window.

Breakfast had a large variety Only recommendation is bring ear plugs. Harry’s Bar is below and every evening until approx 1 am they have live music

Upon our arrival my friends and I were greeted with great hospitality thanks to the lovely receptionist who helped us out! The rooms are clean, with ample space and the shower is fabulous. The location is superb with just a 5 minute walk to the gardens. If you’re thinking of staying here, look no further, you’ll encounter great service and clean and modern facilities.

The Shire was in a fairly good position, where it was walkable to most areas, within about 40 minutes. The room was quiet at night and close to all restaurants. The room was small, but clean. Some upgrades, but still pretty basic. The staff was helpful and friendly.

An affordable small hotel in a nice area of Rome, having a one night stay following a cruise vacation. The staff member was friendly and very helpful on our arrival and upgraded us to a balcony room foc which was a nice surprise. The room was nice with a comfortable bed and good air conditioning which was needed in 42c temperatures! My only tiny issue was the bathroom tiles could do with a grout refresh but other than that we enjoyed our stay at The Shire Hotel 😊
