First and foremost, the property is misrepresented in the Expedia Ad. The photo in the advertising depicting the white Hotel (Dan) on the beach is NOT this Hotel. This Hotel sits behind the Dan hotel on an arterial route.
The hotel is not clearly labelled when traversing on the street; the only way to identify the hotel is by the street number on the side of the building.
The hotel is family owned and operated (what you would expect from a mom and pop shop). The room was relatively clean but very dated. The wallpaper was peeling from the walls, the flooring was very badly damaged and the AC did not work as intended (ran without adjusting to the thermostat). Therefore staying in the room was very uncomfortable as it was either too hot or too cold.
Both the room and the bathroom are very dark and dungeon-like with minimal lighting and small spaces.
The gentleman at the front desk was very nice, but the other staff weren't very personable.
