We love the updated and remodeled motor inns and how they can be modernized while keeping the cool vibes of the originals. I'd stay in a place like this any day over the generic hotels. Great spot for a nice walk in to town and easy access to getting back on the road. Loved the stay, want to come back.

Great for a Couple's Getaway!

This was such a unique and fun stay! Check in was super easy and quick. The Velma was spacious and comfy. We enjoyed the hot tub and the amenities. I was initially concerned about the shared bathrooms, but encountered no issues of waiting or sharing. They were clean and available!

Our stay at the Amigo was lovely. We were in Salida for two nights and absolutely loved the Amigo. Our room was clean and in perfect condition. I love that we had 4 bath towels, 4 hand towels and 4 wash cloths. There was always someone available to help with anything we needed. Love the fridge and fan in the room too. Sheets could have been better. Bamboo sheets on Amazon are fab! We will be back for sure!
