We love the updated and remodeled motor inns and how they can be modernized while keeping the cool vibes of the originals. I'd stay in a place like this any day over the generic hotels. Great spot for a nice walk in to town and easy access to getting back on the road. Loved the stay, want to come back.

This is a great place to stay. We stayed in an airstream room. They had a hot tub available. Breakfast was muffins, granola bars, and oatmeal, grab and go style. Everyone was very friendly.

Great for a Couple's Getaway!

This was such a unique and fun stay! Check in was super easy and quick. The Velma was spacious and comfy. We enjoyed the hot tub and the amenities. I was initially concerned about the shared bathrooms, but encountered no issues of waiting or sharing. They were clean and available!

Absolutely loved the VIBE!! This location is adorable in the heart of Salida. We were supposed to stay in an airstream but sadly it accidentally overbooked, but the team at Amigo made sure our stay was lovely nonetheless. Highly recommend staying here!

Good for the price

I stayed here with my family for a one night stop over on our way to another destination in Colorado. I wanted to stay int he Airstream but it was a bit tight so the front desk let us move to a standard motel room with 2 queen beds. The rooms weren't fancy, but they worked and the beds, which is the most important to me, were very comfortable. The shower was clean and the water pressure and temp was great too. I'd love to come back and stay in an Airstream when it's just two of us. The staff was friendly and attentive and there is coffee in the lobby (a plus). I recommend this lodge for a short stay.

I travel for work. Always stay with a major chain. That chain isn’t here so rolled the dice at the Amigo. Couldn’t be happier. Clean. That’s first for me. Spacious room. Comfortable. Easy parking. Great staff. Kate is the best. And to top it off as needed grab when you want glass water bottles from the lobby fridge. I’d stay longer but the word is out and no availability for my stay in Salida. Stay here.

Amazing Stay

The accommodations were incredible. The feel of the property was exactly what you would hope for. The friendliness of the staff was the absolute best. Fire pit, hot tub, games, hammocks, beautiful setting.
