The condition of the room and hot spring facilities in the room were fine. The shower head didn't work though. At check in hotel staff had the wrong name on our reservation and it took longer to check in. Breakfast was a plus. A passable place for an overnight stay in Wulai.
The location itself was a bit inconvenient. We had to walk up the mountain, but once we get up it was easy to find. It takes about 20~30 minutes to walk up, but driving or taking the taxi up would only take a few minutes. The check-in staff allowed us to leave luggage at the front desk before our check-in time. And we had our choice of room types. The room itself was simple, clean, and most importanly, quite spacious. The hot spring tub in the bathroom was also pretty big. The free breakfast include rice porridge and some Taiwanese-style porridge side dishes. There were also toast, scrambled eggs, and ham for guests who prefer a more Western-style breakfast.
Overall, our stay was relaxing and satisfactory.
