reserved a room that was advertised as a "deluxe room." However, upon arrival, I discovered that the room lacked several basic amenities, including a coffee maker, microwave, iron, ironing board, and sufficient electrical outlets for charging devices. The only appliances provided were a small refrigerator and a wall-mounted television.
The experience was subpar due to the lack of research and consideration of guest reviews prior to booking the accommodation. The sole positive aspect was the courteous demeanor of the receptionist.
The place is really old and needs to be fixed up. When we walked in, it smelled so strong of cleaning stuff, like chlorine, that I think they were trying to clean it or something.
The air conditioner wasn't working. It was a heat wave, so we tried to turn it on. But it made this awful loud noise. We were all tired, so we decided to wait until tomorrow to fix it.
The bathroom sink was clogged!
There was rust on some of the metal stuff. The lights in the bathroom kept flickering on and off. And the vent made this noise like an old, broken lawnmower..
We needed to use the washroom, so we did to discover that the washroom door doesn't lock!
The bedsheets were so old and worn out. The mattress was just a bunch of metal springs digging into my back.
The next morning, we woke up, and the lights in the bathroom were dead. We went to the front desk, and this dude was all smiles, saying he'd check 'em out after we checked out.
Overall, it was an unpleasant.
