No Water

There was no water , no offer of bottle water or jugs, could flush toilet, and they didn't seem to care.

Was a bit of a rough start getting checked in. We had an employee who was a bit rushed and obviously needed more help. But other then that the trip was wonderful! The cabin was more then we could have asked for and the amenities were amazing. Easy walk to the water and ample parking!

Great area. I had fun. Though for the price paid I was expecting a bit better cleanliness and cabin condition. Friendly staff.

Rented a cabin. Shower and toilet did not work. Did not have the amenities advertised. I would have saved money and just rented a tent site if i knew the conditions.

Great getaway in the PNW

I would stay there again. Stayed in cabin and all was great but the sofa-bed. Would recommend bringing own air mattress. Location was awesome, service was stellar. Just a great place

We were very pleased with our stay at our cabin. It was clean and the area was so beautiful. The kitchen was well supplied and the staff were eager to make sure that we wanted for nothing. We highly recommend renting a cabin at this resort!

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The only thing we were disappointed with was all the amenities were closed.. mini golf, playgrounds, courts, hot tubs..all closed. We took our family here to be able to use these and nothing was mentioned on the website about everything being closed. That was a little disappointing.

Nice cabins on the beach, however there is a parking lot between the cabin and beach. Be sure to bring your own sheets, blankets, and pillows for the bunk beds and/or sofa beds in the cabins because they are not provided. The beds are also uncomfortable. We would love to come back after the pandemic because all amenities were closed, including mini golf, playground, and sports courts. It seems like it would be a nice place if everything was open and the weather was better. Instead, we visited some nice nearby parks including Edgewater Park, Hillcrest Park, and Cap Sante Viewpoint with beautiful sunset views. We also enjoyed the wood burning stove in the cabin since it was too rainy out to use the firepit.

Good weekend getaway

great location and ver cute rustic cabin. Private small garden with a picnic table. nice and sunny in the morning and cool in the afternoon. The place can take another good cleaning since it was dusty. Also some upgrades to the bathroom tub and heating is needed. The little stove also has seen better days

The staff was extremely friendly and the location is great. The cabin was pretty expensive for how small it is. I can't imagine having more than 2 people stay there. Not a lot of room for parking outside. Firepit outside was really nice. They made our pets feel welcome, but if you stay in a pet friendly cabin be aware there will probably be stains all over the carpet. It wasn't the cleanest place I have stayed.

Great Place!

We had a wonderful time! twenty yards from the beach, we were able to bring our small dog with us. Very quiet and peaceful. We're already planning a return trip.

LaConner Glamping

We stayed in one of the cedar log cabins, which was very nice. It felt like a very corporate campground, with "A Thousand Driveways" as the accurate name, vs "A Thousand Trails". It felt like a maximum number of RVs were shoved in there. But it IS an RV park, and maybe this is normal for that kind of park. It was very unclear from the site how it worked - we learned that there were some free opportunities, like a "hay ride" (flatbed trailer stacked with bales pulled by a very diesely earthmover of some kind) and a free movie, that there is an "adult lounge" where I don't know what went on, but the kids (4 and 8) had a great time running around with other kids on the rocky beaches and playing on the playgrounds. I'm pretty sure it was an expensive way to stay - really didn't check out rates in LaConner - but this was an interesting experience. Not sure I'd do it again. I like a more rustic surrounding - usually a tent camper - tho they did a good job of keeping lots of big trees. Still, it was REALLY crowded! LaConner is charming and busy itself, but we enjoyed Nasty Jack's photo studio, the train up towards Acme, the hay ride, an ice cream cone downtown, and Christianson's Nursery with its animals.

Great location/scenery but cabin not so much

The cabin was very small, outdated and the carpets were very dirty and stained. The bed was not a queen as advertised, it was a double bed and it was very uncomfortable. There also was a stain on the sheet. The couch was small and also uncomfortable. The dishes were above the stove that made it impossible to reach for a short person. It was nearly impossible to find an available electrical outlet to plug something in. There is no cell phone or wifi service unless you go to the family center.

Bathroom sink was very slow to drain.

Beautiful setting, but cabins are rough.

We loved the setting and grounds in the campground. The sites are wooded and the access to the water was wonderful. The bed in the cabin was absolutely terrible. Not sleeping well and waking up with a back ache didn't ruin our stay, but it sure did impact it. It was listed as a queen, but it was a double and the mattress was terrible. The cabin itself was rustic and a bit dated, but that didn't bother us at all. If you have your own RV/trailer and the bed isn't an issue, it's a beautiful place and well located near Anacortes and the charming town of La Conner.

6/10 Good

It could be a whole lot nicer

First time visiting the park and I received a few smirks when checking in at the front gate because I wasn't familiar with their routine. Found the cabin, which wasn't the original one I booked but expedia sold me one that wasn't dog-friendly, so I got a dinky cabin jammed in with other dinky cabins and the nearest 'beach' was the boat launch area. The living room contained a futon for seating and a too large dining table that made walking around difficult. I was there on my own. I can't imagine more than one person trying to move around in there. I'd invited friends to stay one of the nights but when I sent a photo of the bedroom with full bed and bunk beds 2 feet apart they thankfully they declined as it was too close for comfort. The full size bed was hard as a rock. The fridge froze everything I put into it. There was no grill. The game room needed a code to get into it and I couldn't be bothered walking back to the front gate to get it. T-mobile service came and went sporadically. The spa has been out of service for a month according to their website. Basically, they're milking this property for every nickel, without spending a penny to make it comfortable or appealing. I would have been happier at a motel with free breakfast included.
