Perfect location! We walked practically everywhere for food and sightseeing, then we would take a taxi/Uber back at the end of the day, or vice versa. Restful 4-night stay in our comfy big bed, big room and big bathroom. Daily variety of tasty Taiwanese buffet breakfast and more, including latte/coffee, was superb! The whole hotel was well maintained and clean. All the staff were polite and helpful. We even took a complementary private car/shuttle ride to the train station on the last day. Highly recommend Fuward Hotel Tainan!

The hotel is located just across of the famous Hayashi Department Store, which is very convenient with many bus options and nearby famous sights. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are in good condition and equipped with the necessary things, although unfortunately there's no conditioner available in the bathroom. Unfortunately it can also be rather loud from the corridors since the doors have quite some gap. Room service was good and efficient, although unfortunately they removed used items without replacing them. Breakfast looks good on first sight but is rather disappointing in case you're vegerarian. Although it was included in the room rate, we decided to only go for it once and skipped it the following days. Air conditioning in breakfast room, lobby and corridors is extremely cold. 2-3 degrees more would've felt better. The hotel offers free laundy machines, bicycle rental and also a shuttle from/to the train station, although the schedule is only shown in the lobby with pre-registration required, so using it on arrival might be difficult.

林百貨店の目の前で、窓のない部屋を予約しましたが、清潔で快適でした。スタッフさんも日本語で懸命に対応してくれて助かりました。朝食も納豆や焼き海苔の日本食や台湾料理もあり、特に台湾料理は日本人宿泊客にあう薄味でよかったです。金曜日から日曜日まで二泊三日泊まりましたが、お値段以上でした。
林百貨店の屋上から銀行のビルも日本統治時代に建てられたもののようです。
林百貨店の道路挟んで目の前の好立地です。
夜小雨でしたがホテルのまえから林百貨店を撮影しまし�た。
朝食一回目、タロイモ饅頭のスイーツもありました。
