This was very possibly the most comfortable hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Aside from the bed being definitely the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever experienced, the whole vibe of the hotel was comfortable, from the decor, to the fact that it was so quiet at night that, when I went outside, I could hear my cigarette burning (don’t smoke, it’s a terrible habit). I got in late on my business trip, and usually that’s a recipe for still feeling wound up when I go to bed, and staring at the ceiling. Not the case here, I fell asleep as fast as I do in my own bed at home, and stayed out for the night.
It’s a bit ramshackle; the lever on the toilet stuck, and the screen in the windows had the odd hole, but all of that was a small price to pay for just how cozy and homey it felt. It’s also a small price to pay for the small price to pay. You are not going to find a better hotel for this price.
