Great option for a budget friendly stay.

Beds were comfy, ample space within the room. I felt like the A/C never got as cool as we wanted, but was still comfortable. One comment I do have is just the amount of light in the hall way shinning through the bottom of the door was extremely bright, even in the dead of night. I felt like there could be a lower setting for after midnight or something, but it brought quite a bit of light into the room, however we were able to stuff a towel under the door to help mitigate. Great breakfast in the morning for the kids. Great option for a budget friendly stay. Overall 4 stars.

Good stay until..

Everything was good except when the water heater went out at the hotel leaving everyone with no hot water. We had a two night stay and the water heater had a problem on the first night. Other than that the staff and place is great for the price.

Bed bugs our new friends!

What an experience! Upon entering our cell, it was apparent this room/hotel has seen better years. The aroma was a rich bouquet of must and mildew. The portable dehumidifier present suggested a rich history of water damage and neglect. Apparently the owners had hired an abstract painter to cover the original patina with a thin layer of saffron. Having arrived very late and with an especially early morning to come, we took to our slumber. We had been warned that our beds would not have a dust ruffle. While awaiting the sand man, we were startled by an otherworldly presence. Our luck was at a low when we realized the scratching, growling noises was Pazuzu (the Babylonian demon of the southwest wind) possessing the a/c unit. Braving sure destruction, I turned in the lights to investigate. Immediately, I saw that I had interrupted a large gathering of a community of 6 legged red bellied creatures that had been feast in my face. The guests in the other bed found a similar party was in their bed as well. Phoning the concierge, we fled across the hall to our next abode. Emptying the refrigerator during the transfer, we found that our items had been made warmer and cozier than when placed. Looking into the eyes of only 4 more hours of slumber, we slept with the knowledge of the evil that we were surrounded. Having survived the night, we never looked back lest we share the same fate as Lot’s wife. The proprietors of this hovel did issue a refund and apology.

Rude customer service.

Made a reservation on Wednesday or Thursday for Saturday. The kid called me on Saturday when I was already in town and expecting to have a room. He was rude and hung up on me. Absolutely horrible experience hotels.com doesn't want bad truthful reviews

The front desk service was excellent. Zach especially. But when we got to our room we were disappointed with the cleanliness. Specifically the bathroom. The towels were folded and new soap was in place so it appeared that it had been cleaned. However the toilet, bathtub and sink were very dirty. And I’m not a picky person but this was so disgusting that I had to tell Zach. He ended up getting cleaning supplies and cleaning it himself. Whomever was supposed to clean that room should get fired. It was that bad! Even the bath soap was still in the bath tub drain along with grime, dirt and pubic hair. The toilet was worse but I won’t describe. If they hire better housekeepers this place will improve. Breakfast was great!

We arrived on Friday with no towels available for my family of 4. The gentleman at the front desk advised that he only had 1 towel so we had to share 1 towel. The next morning we went and asked for some towels again and the lady at the front desk was said there was no towels and there wouldn’t be any until 10am. We asked them what we were supposed to do until 10am if we had to be somewhere at 9am she said I don’t know but we don’t have towels. We again used the same towel and some shirts to dry ourselves. That evening we got back to the hotel and asked again for towels and the gentleman said again they didn’t have any. We were upset that we told him that was our 4th time asking since the day before and that we have been sharing a towel since we got there. He got nervous and said let me go see if there are some in the rooms not being utilized. He brought back 4 towels but I’m thinking could they have not done that before? The lady we asked in the morning was on her personal phone and just said I don’t know when she could have made the effort to find us towels. Our room was also semi-dirty and there were stains around the toilet as if someone threw up and it wasn’t cleaned properly! There was hairs all over the restroom in the tub on the sink etc. May have just been our room 318 but we will not be staying again.

Overall, our stay was okay. However, upon checking in and arriving at our room, we found several strands of hair in the beds. When I voiced my concerns at the front desk, a staff member—whose name I didn’t catch—promptly came up to remove the sheets and remake the beds to my satisfaction, not only in my room but in my mom’s as well, as she had the same issue. The following morning, housekeeping cleaned my room to satisfaction. The breakfast was wonderful, and the staff was friendly. I wouldn't stay again if given the option.

Front desk service excellent .But room bed linens was very dirty full of hairs sheets was dirty pillowcases dirty we took pictures of the bed not exceptable bathroom was dirty hair in the tub floor toilet dirty hair was in the bathroom sink ect.Ask the service person at front desk bring sheets down I made and my daughter changed the bedsheets etc.

not very impressed

the pillows were filthy. i asked for a wheelchair accessible room, didn’t get one . There was mold on the walls according to my boyfriend . the bed was to high i could barely get in it

Lots of disappointments.

I was really needing to check-in early to freshen because of a 5 hour drive and going to a funeral but the front desk clerk would not consider any solutions. There were no water or coffee cups in the room. The water in the tub was a low steady stream. I really would have appreciated some fruit for breakfast. The evening clerk was very friendly but the morning clerk, not so much. She didn't even acknowledge me as I came to check out.

Fredricksburg trip

We were doing a ladies road trip it was 5 of us , my mother , my aunt mother , my sister and myself , we actually went to visit Fredericksburg , booked this hotel bc of the Indoor pool n jacuzzi , our stay was good , rooms were clean n beds comfortable, the breakfast was ok , could have a better selection but we filled our tummies before we headed out to San Antonio
