We stayed at Onyx for six nights in the penthouse apartment as a family of four. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and there were many things we really liked about the property, particularly the spacious accommodation, pool, children’s facilities, gym, food and service. However, there were also several aspects of the penthouse and overall resort experience that I felt could be improved. Some of these are relatively minor inconveniences, while others are worth considering, particularly for families travelling with young children. The penthouse itself was clean, spacious and comfortable. Having plenty of space was a real benefit for our family, especially as we were staying for six nights. The bed was also very comfortable, which made a big difference during our stay. The room was generally well presented, although I personally found the artwork and decor quite overwhelming. There were a lot of decorative elements competing for attention, and I think the space could feel more relaxing with a slightly simpler and more understated design. This is, of course, a matter of personal preference, but I felt that the decor sometimes took away from the otherwise beautiful and spacious apartment.
