Te place to stay for good value for money in Køln

Nice restaurant for dinner. Good breakfastbuffet included. Friendly and nice employees. Minus for carpet on the floors. Right outside of Køln. Good value for money.

Always our first choice stay

The overall hotel is fab stayed here over 3 times and is our first choice always in Germany, but we was on ground floor, and the WiFi didn't reach our room, and all the air conditioning was not available ( even though this was stated on the amenities available) , but was provided a fan. Breakfast was lovely as always. Lots to choose from. Beds are comfortable, and rooms are big enough.

This hotel was reasonable placed as I had to attend a festival and theme park that weekend so getting onto public transport was local as bus stop area was around the corner, also a shopping mall behind the bus stop was a bonus. On first day there was a blackout but staff were soo helpful to make sure all was ok with me and other guests staying. Blackout didn't last long (couple of hrs), in all the room and bathroom was clean plus the AC worked. Staff in the breakfast/dinner area were also polite and cheerful during my stay. Enjoyed my stay here. Recommend!

Pretty good hotel for the price, especially with breakfast included. Staff were friendly, there was a good amount of parking and we liked the breakfast options. Only negatives were the slightly dirty carpet in the room and cutlery could've been cleaned better.

We stayed in a superior double room for 5 nights. The air conditioning system did not work throughout the whole trip. Reported this on a number of occasions to the front desk and told this was same for whole hotel . Some friends were staying at the same hotel and ALL of their rooms had their air co ditio ers working. Our room overooked the main road and hotel paking and a skip. As the ac susytem not working we had to have the door open and the noise from the traffic and workers busy throwing ju k into the skip as a early as 6am made it very difficult for us to sleep. I am very disappointed witht he hotel and no one fixed the issue in our room.

This Hotel is exactly as it shows. The carpet smelled a bit in the room, I had to have the doors wide open for fresh air, for me it was warm during my stay and we were given a room with no ac ☹️. I asked for one and was told maintenance hadn’t set it up yet. But the reception did bring me a fan for the night- kudos to him. He provided us with a map and bus route in case we did it want to drive. Plenty of safe parking. On another note, breakfast was great for us, friendly staff. Thank you.

Reasonable place to stay for price. Good breakfast

Hotel is easy to reach from the motorway. Large surface parking is onsite with plenty of spaces. Underground carpark available, chargeable at €9.50 a day. Check in was easy. Room was large, with double bed (2 singles zipped together). Juliette window overlooking the courtyard. There was no Aircon in the room. Room location was quiet. The curtains could do with being wider, they either didn't meet in the middle or large gaps on the sides. So bring an eye mask unless you like being woken up by daylight. The room could have been cleaner a glance under the bed, rather wish I hadn't! Bathroom was good. Huge shower and good water pressure and temperature. Breakfast was varied and plentyful. Lots of hot options. Cereals, cold meat, cheese, yoghurt, a variety of fresh fruit. Different breads and rolls, jams, spreads, patè. There were mini croissants and Danish pastries those these went quick and took a while to be replenished. Lots of drink options. Lactose free and dairy alternative milk available. Limited gluten free choice (some packaged crispbreads) The bus station is located in the next road. It can either take you to Cologne in over an hour or to the Ubahn station. Which was total travel from hotel to Cologne in 45mins. Returning from Cologne after 6 there are limited or no buses. The Ubahn runs until late but it's just over a kilometre walk uphill to the hotel from the Ubahn station. This wasn't clear in the hotel information. We would have stayed elsewhere otherwise.

Overall my accommodation was good, but the evening reception guy at the front desk was one of the most useless staff people I’ve encountered at any hotel in my years of travel. My room lost power two days into my stay due to a breaker tripping and I went to the front desk for help. The guy made an attempt to supposedly help and more than an hour later I still had no power. No follow up, no contact to let me know he was working on the issue. I had to head to the front desk for a second time since the initial guy was nowhere to be found. Another gentleman (seemed like a senior staff) heard my complaint and within 1 minute I had power back in my room. What was more infuriating was that the first guy saw me multiple times during my stay for several days afterwards and I didn’t get as much as a regret for keeping me without power for over an hour. Zero customer service and he had this attitude/demeanor where he was doing me a favor. Either that guy has no business being in a customer service role or he denied me the service I required on the basis of being a non-local. Very, very disrespectful.

Ein Stern abzug wegen defekt der Klimaanlage in beiden Zimmern.Empfang sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Betten bequem und sauber.Bettwäsche auch gut. Frühstück überragend.Parkplatz sehr sehr gut.Preis für das Gebotene voll in Ordnung. Wir würden jederzei wieder buchen wenn Bedarf besteht.Danke.

Un peu déçu

Positif : grand parking, accueil agréable, excellente literie, petit déjeuner complet et vraiment bien avec salle intérieure et exterieure Négatif : Chambre sans déco et froide, climatisation défaillante, télé non connectée, pas de bouilloire ou de machine a café et surtout un quatrième étage sans ascenseur qui s'arrête au 3eme : ensuite c'est l'expédition... 7 portes hyper lourdes a pousser puis un escalier... et a la réception personne ne nous a demandé si cela nous dérangeait. Tout ça pour une chambre supposée "confort"

Das Hotel, ist max ein 3 Sterne Hotel. Das Familienzimmer wirkte sehr abgewohnt und hatte keine Klimaanlage, obwohl das Zimmer so angepriesen wurde. Frühstück war ok. Zum einmal übernachten ganz ok
