Adelphi Hotel

Adelphi Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"This was a lot of fun, sort of like going back in time ... the historic charm, grand architecture and timeless elegance of the hotel made you feel like an honored head of state walking through the door. It's worth coming in off the street just to take in the reception hall with marble floor, high ceilings and ornate columns. Then climb the red-carpeted staircase into a magnificent grand lobby sitting area with classic arches, high glass-paneled ceiling and sparkling chandeliers. Better yet, book a room. It's a great value and a great location in the heart of the city. The Lime Street Train Station is no more than a 5-minute walk. It's a casual 15-20-minute walk to the Royal Albert Dock and the waterfront. Plenty of shops, plenty to see along the way. The hotel's delicious buffet breakfast is a great way to start one's day. The staff is outstanding ... friendly and accommodating. Definitely look forward to returning."

The Resident Liverpool

The Resident Liverpool

10/10 Excellent
"We were a family of four and stayed in a junior suite. We couldn’t have been happier with The Resident and can’t imagine getting a better hotel, better accommodation and better location in Liverpool. The hotel itself feels very upmarket. Stylish and spotless. Every member of staff we encountered were warm, friendly and efficient. We even had a hand written note in the room on arrival. The room was perfect and we just love the Ropewalks area. Close to everything and spoiled for choice in terms of restaurants. Bravo The Resident. We will definitely be back."

"Can’t fault the hotel. Or the staff lovely big room great breakfast But unfortunately I didn’t look at reviews regarding the noise level. As it was right in the middle off the bars and nightclubs scene. The noise was about till 3 am Thursday and friday night. Musics and revellers Enjoying Liverpool But cannot fault the hotel whatsoever."

The Municipal Hotel Liverpool - MGallery

The Municipal Hotel Liverpool - MGallery

8/10 Good
"The Municipal is a lovely hotel, communal areas are fabulous, it is in a great location and was immaculate. We booked it for my birthday due to it being the only 5 star hotel in Liverpool and thought we would give it a try, we normally stay in the Titanic hotel, however I’m not really sure why it is classed as a 5 star hotel. The Titanic hotel in Liverpool is far more superior in my view. We stayed in a Superior room in the municipal and I have to say I was disappointed, the rooms in the Titanic are by far better, they are around 3 x the size with lounge area and have a bath as well as a shower. We are unlikely to stay again at the Municipal but it may suit others more than us so don’t be put off we just prefer something different."

The Seafront Hotel by Compass Hospitality

8/10 Good
"Our room was excellent with a lovely sea view and a table and chairs in the bay window. Good, clean bathroom. Breakfast was very good. The bar is looking a bit tired and could do with some freshening up. Plants, pictures, curtains at the windows would make a big difference to the ‘ambiance’. Very comfortable bed."
