Nice and cool on a hot day. Very welcoming reception-- staff and area. Rooms are small (but maybe big for Tokyo?) We only stayed one night. It's walking distance to a metro station. That said, to get to a major hub (Tokyo, Shinagawa) with luggage it's a bit of a haul. For our flight back from Narita we took a cab to Shinagawa (about 2000 yen) to catch the Narita express.

Good facilities. The staff were also very helpful. I didn't use the meals, so I don't know about them, but the atmosphere seemed good. It's relatively quiet, close to an apartment block, and within walking distance of the restaurant district. The only downside is the distance from the station. It's a long walk if you with a lot of luggage.

Good hotel near Tamachi station

Good hotel at six minutes walk from Tamachi train station, from where trains bring you to anywhere in Tokyo. Rather small room (as is in most hotels in Tokyo), but all works well, very clean, well maintained. I did not try the breakfast. Nothing to complain about, except that there are not that many restaurants in the area (best to walk to Tamachi station).

My husband and I were very pleased with our room on the 17th floor-quiet, carefully, well-appointed and lit and comfortable. This morning’s bonus was a clear view of Fujisan atop with snow! Another small, so Japanese thing was the drip coffee packet with “origami hooks” Staff were very polite, but I was glad I speak adequate Nihongo. Shiga-san was very helpful with getting a box, packing materials and addressed the form for us. Yamato transport is fabulous! One suggestion: unless one reads kanji, the heat/cooling remote is useless. One night we were too hot, the next too cold. Please put an instruction card about the names of the buttons and their functions. Your guests will be more comfortable. Thanks.

Prima Hotel mit nettem Service

Wir waren zu dritt für eine Woche im Deluxe-Zweibettzimmer (NEW Corner Deluxe, 30 m²) untergebracht. Das Zimmer bot drei bequeme Betten und war insgesamt sehr angenehm. Einzig ein Kleiderschrank fehlt, ansonsten ist alles bestens ausgestattet. Es gibt täglich frische Handtücher und auf Wunsch auch eine tägliche Zimmerreinigung inklusive neuer Bettwäsche. Der Müll wird regelmäßig entsorgt, und alle drei Tage erfolgt eine Komplettreinigung des Zimmers. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, abwechslungsreich und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Besonders nett: Täglich um 17 Uhr gibt es eine „Happy Hour“ mit Wein, Snacks und Drinks. Die Lage ist sehr praktisch – in unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich mehrere Convenience Stores wie Grandpark, Lawson oder 7-Eleven. Direkt hinter der Polizeistation gibt es zudem eine authentische und sehr leckere Ramenküche. Im August ist Tokio allerdings extrem heiß (um die 36°) und sehr schwül, sodass selbst kurze Fußwege eine Herausforderung darstellen können. Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt mit gutem Service und kleinen Extras, die den Aufenthalt besonders machen.
