it’s my first time visiting indonesia. soekarno-hatta airport didn’t really impress me, but my first stay at this hotel gave me the best impression of indonesia. i wouldn’t say the facilities here are top-notch, and for some, it might feel lacking. but for me, it’s one of the best hotels i’ve stayed in. it’s a bit old, but the room was clean, well-maintained, spacious, and comfy. the breakfast isn’t something i’d call amazing, but for budget-conscious travelers, it’s a pretty solid choice. the hotel is on a huge property, which can make it hard to find your way around, and you might have to walk quite a bit to get to your room. there’s nothing much around the hotel, and since there’s no convenience store inside, getting what you need might be tricky.
the front desk staff are super friendly. their english isn’t perfect, but they try their best to help you out. a few female staff working in the morning greet guests with the warmest smiles and kind service. one of them even pronounced a perfect korean word while helping me, which was really touching. i didn’t get her name, but her beautiful face, sweet voice, and kindness left me with an amazing experience of this hotel and indonesia as a whole.
