It has the potential to be amazing but little things got in the way. Transportation from airport was terrible and took many hours. We were quite tired when we arrived only to be placed in a suite that literally was missing the tvs from the wall. They quickly got new tvs hung up, my daughter slipped off her shoes and stepped on the rug to find it was saturated in water (completely flooded). Did no one inspect the room? An hour later we were in a new room and at this point we missed all dining options. In the new room the tv didn’t work at all but we reported it and moved in. It was never fixed during our stay. All of the restaurants were booked ahead so we had to wait in line at the one restaurant that didn’t require reservations. Room service was spotty. Overall the property was beautiful but these things really got in the way.

READ the bill on checkout. There was ~500 USD worth of errors which took them 30 minutes to correct.
5 stars for Edgar (Jungala Park Hotel) and Arturo (Gong restaurant). These two went above and beyond.
Melanie of Jungala Park Hotel was either super incompetent or untrained.
On checkout we noticed ~10000 pesos (~500 USD) worth of incorrect charges (which took 30 minutes to resolve on checkout). That made us late for hotel arranged transportation (part of package) to airport to which the transportation staff not only gave us attitude but said they will not be able to transport us at all. Only after escalating to a manager did they honor their commitment.
We felt tremendous inefficiency throughout the property (yes they had much staff but not efficient). Staff responses to queries many times seemed like they were LYING in order to take the easy way out.
Our family of 5 made the package reservation which included aqua park access. On the day of access they randomly said only four park tickets were included, sucks to be the 5th family member. Bottom line, it was a ploy to extort an additional ticket which was supposed to be part of the package.
All 5 laundry machines of the property were not functioning illustrating poor inspection and maintenance. When we pressed the issue their first response was just pay for hotel done laundry, and only after we pressed that its ridiculous that all 5 machines are non-functional they said "ok we will do your laundry for free".
