I made a reservation over 3 months ago, I reserved the "Panoramic Double or Twin Room", this room is supposed to have a view of the Red Sea, a sitting area and be 377 square feet. At check in it felt like they rushed us thru the process, we asked if we were getting something with a nice view, the guy said he'd see what they had available... we got the worst room possible in the whole hotel: tiny, possibly 150 square feet at most, right next to the reception, next to a men's toilet, the view was to the wall of the next building, right next to a construction area where lots of power tools were being used, very noisy, every time someone used the toilet next to the our room, we could hear the flushing, we could hear the conversations from the reception...
Upon arrival, we were tired and a little disoriented, I didn't have the exact details of my reservation in my mind, but after lunch and resting I connected to WiFi and looked up my reservation details.
We went to the reception and told the staff that we hadn't got the room we reserved and asked why, the guy who checked us in said he gave us that room because we were leaving for the airport early in the morning and that it was for our convenience. At check in we weren't even asked if this is what we wanted or given any options. At that point we had already unpacked and even though they offered to give us a different room, we felt it would be too much of a hassle to pack again and move for only a one night stay. Very disappointed.
