Perfect for me but maybe not for everyone
I loved my stay here! I visited in the winter when rates were low and I booked the single room (Room 4) knowing it will be slightly small but fine for 3 nights. I arrived at night and when my cab pulled up to the B&B I was shocked just HOW close it was to the Duomo. Yes there were photos on website but usually they can’t be trusted. I had received codes to enter by myself due to late arrival and everything was as instructed. The room was just as in the photos, but more comfortable and inviting somehow. No weird smells or stains. and really perfect for a solo traveler, it had everything I needed. Then when I opened my window I was in awe of the Duomo view when looking out to the left. I was very happy that I chose this place, I loved the feel of LIVING there each time I opened the wooden front door. And the location is just perfect! Some notes to consider: - There is no elevator and they are very very clear about that. I only had a small carryon and it was fine. But if you can’t climb 2 flights of stairs or have large heavy luggage, this might not be for you. - It is indeed noisy. Since it is a historic building, they can’t change the windows. There was a party on the square keeping me up one night. I think special curtains might help. The room to room noise is no joke, you think the other guest is in your room. But guests were pretty quiet at night. - The cafe next door where you can use your breakfast voucher is convenient and cute, but the quality isn’t great.

Lovely stay in the heart of the city
Great place in terms of reach to sightseeing, restaurants, cafe, cleanliness, etc. Luisa was a very kind hostess, that took the time to direct me to places worth visiting and nice restaurants. Felt like at home! The only thing that might make your sleep a bit difficult, is the noise from outdoors -which of course is to be expected when you choose to stay in such a central point- and a little bit the noise of residents’ steps on the wooden floors, which is again to be expected when you live at an authentic Florence building, which has been renovated and is at great shape, exactly as shown in the pictures! And the view is simply amazing!!! Definitely recommend :)

Location, location, location!
Location, location, location! This B&B is right beside the Duomo and our room had a great view of it. The room was clean and comfortable, the en-suite was spotless, the service was friendly and efficient and breakfast was taken outside the Opera del Duomo…what a treat! I’ll be back.

Property was very nice. I just happened to be there on trash morning and my windows were open. The owner was so very kind so I would definitely stay again.

Se tiene que remodelar el lugar. La habitación doble está bastante mal. El lugar se veía oscuro, sucio y viejo. No es una habitación barata. Probablemente, tenía expectativas más altas. No lo recomendaría. Entiendo que encontrar una buena habitación a un precio razonable es difícil, pero como recomendación, inviertan en un hotel mejor.

The best location!!
This place was perfect. The location is incredible and offers the ability to walk Florence and and experience all the sights and attractions. Luisa was always ready to help if necessary and was very flexible in helping us arrive, check in and make sure we had everything we needed. We don’t know when we’re coming back to Florence, but we know we will be staying here!!

Great location, service could be better
Great location right near the Duomo. The room itself was very cute, cozy, and clean. The a/c did not seem to cool as much as we would’ve liked but the fan they provided helped a lot. The main issue I had with my stay was the inflexibility of check-in. The check-in window was very short and ended at noon. Although they sent very clear instructions on how to get in, they said we needed to be available the next morning to provide our passports. The problem was we had an early tour and would again not be available during their short availability. We were then requested to send passport pictures through an outside text message. I hated this but also knew we had to get them our information. The first time we tried it, it didn’t work because they weren’t clear on how to send it but finally got it through the second time. If they would have a normal check in time or been more accommodating (we checked in at 12:30) this all could have been avoided. Another issue I had was that breakfast was included but NOT at the property. Additionally, the tickets they left for it were for two breakfast places but they left no directions on how to get to those places.

Truly one of the very best B&B’s I have ever stayed in!! The lady at reception (owner) was super friendly and helpful. She explained about the city and recommended nice restaurants. Upon arrival very nice communication, we did not had to ask because she already sent us the information we needed. Room was very tidy, cute, everything was there (drinking water, hairdryer, tea, extra pillows, soaps, you name it). Great place to stay when visiting Florence!

Litet B&B precis vid duomon
Litet B&B som ligger precis vid Duomon, mindre än 1 minut att gå. Engagerad ägarinna. Ingen lyx, men rent och snyggt med italiensk charm. Ingen frukost på hotellet, men det ingår kuponger att köpa frukost för. Vi åt på frukostället som tillhörde Duomo museet (mitt emot Duomon) det var trevligt och vi fick generös frukost. Det som drar ner är priset, vi betalade 2000kr per natt vilket är mycket med tanke på standarden. Obs! Boka i förväg om ni vill besöka kupolen, flera veckors väntetid.

La ubicación lo es todo. Es espectacular. El edificio para subir a la habitación está descuidado y sin pintar, no hay elevador y vez todo el camino. La habitación estaba en condiciones pero tenía detalles de polvo y el suelo no tan limpio. Muy amable la atención, el desayuno que te incluyes bajas a las cafeterías cerca y es muy bueno. Florencia es espectacular. Recomendado solo hace falta un poco más de mantenimiento

A lovely staff that were all accommodating and very helpful with any questions and needs. Convenient location right in the city. Accessible to any of the museums and a nice walk across the river to other attractions. Next to a pharmacy for any medical needs. Really comfortable for what I was looking for, I would stay again traveling solo!
