Amazing
We have just got back from the most wonderful stay at Lakes hotel & spa in Windermere. As we arrived at the gatehouse, we were greeted by name, which was a lovely touch. We were greeted at the front door by the wonderful Patrick, who attended to our luggage and guided us to reception to check in with a welcoming glass of prosecco. As I had stated the stay was for my husband,s birthday to our delight we were treated to a room upgrade. Patrick took us on a guided tour of this beautiful hotel, which certainly had the wow factor. Then we were taken to our room, which was actually a suite, we were blown away. Every member of staff were super friendly, the place is stunning. We had dinner in The Mizumi, Asian fusion restaurant. Superb food and a lovely touch of a birthday dessert. We could ot fault a thing. Upon check out at 11am we could still use spa facilities until 1.30 pm, no rush to get us out, we wandered down to the lake, which is only a 2 min walk. Amazing hotel, will definitely be going back
