We booked the hotel as it was close to surrounding amenities, Shopping, parks, bars. However, we did book a Queen & Double room, it was our honeymoon and we ended up staying in separate beds as the beds were smaller than what we booked but I was told it was the last room. The room view was of the hotel's recycling centre which was very noisy and disappointing, I woke up on the Saturday night at 4am to staff emptying glass into containers and then again at 6am to staff having chats outside the window. This happened a few times and was very disappointing, we kept the curtains closed for the entirety of our stay.
The only thing I will say is that the staff at Breakfast, Dinner and Bar were very helpful and attentive.
Swimming pool changing room was unhygienic and needs a clean and update, especially if hotel guests are expected to use the facilities. For a four star hotel and the price we paid I was a little disappointed, we'd had a long week after our wedding and I didn't feel like raising the issue at the checkout desk at the time, but now wish I did.
