The Colts Neck Inn is surrounded by nature. It is a quaint and charming property. My husband and I stay here when we come to NJ. This last time, we were here to celebrate my 60th birthday. I checked in and was immediately uograded to the King suite. It was amazing. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed.

Quaint old school hotel that might need some TLC

We’ve stayed here twice. The first time was better than the second but I think it depends what room you get. I love the old school feel of the hotel and it’s a small place so the workers at the desk treat all the guests like family. The outside area isn’t too bad for walking your dog but don’t expect to go far on foot because the road is too busy. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are cozy. My only complaint is the plumbing. There is a terrible odor that comes out of the shower and the sink when you run it and it’s concerning. I think they might need to clean the pipes or something. I initially thought it was just the room I was in but after the second stay, it was worse so now I’m thinking there’s a problem. Hopefully they get it fixed because I would love to stay again!

Everyone was incredibly friendly, and the historic building was peppered with modern flare that made everyone feel welcome. There is so much with in walking distance that they highlight for you in an in room guide. I’d be thrilled to stay there again should I find myself in the area.

We were in town for a family event. Check in was quick & the inn was a cute place to stay. Everyone was friendly & our room was clean. Next morning we had complimentary breakfast which had more than I was expecting in a nice room with tv & comfy area we could relax in. I loved the little lounge area when we checked in.
