Impiana is a hotel with one of the best locations a hotel can have anywhere in the world with a wonderful staff I can not compliment enough for their wonderful service. There is however issues with this hotel that come from a lack of investment in keeping the hotel in good shape that leaves the place feeling very worn and dated. I guess I should be happy about this because if the owners cared about keeping up standards, the room price would be triple and would not be able to afford it.This hotel has a potential that is is almost unique with its location directly on Patong Beach, but it is wasted mostly. The room while clean had so many janky things that only half worked. Like showers where the fixtures almost fall off, power outlets where the plugs just fall out, air condition where the temperature you set it to has no relation to the temperature it produces, curtains that do not close properly, lights in the closet that just would not turn off when you closed the door that I had to engineer a fix for to sleep, a pool that I don't think was ever finished properly when it was originally built. I was in a suite and I am slightly worried how bad the regular rooms are if the premium option is in this bad state of repair. I should really remove another star from standards and facilities because there was no bacon for breakfast. This is a mortal sin for a hotel to commit. Are you even really a hotel anymore if there is no bacon for breakfast? Enjoyed my stay, but not at that price.
