The property is clean and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The staff was helpful and pleasant. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. We liked having coffee and cake in the library by the fire place while watching the snow fall onto the water. The glass doors and windows allowed for lots of natural light and view of the outdoors.

This was the perfect stay. The staff exceeded my expectations. Will did an especially great job assisting me with a tricky travel situation.
I really felt at home. They were accommodating to myself , my child and my small dog.
Rooms were classic , calming and clean. Beautiful views of the harbor. Also had a lovely room service meal. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. Thank you again to everyone.

The Delamar is by far my favorite hotel in the area. The rooms and common areas are charming and first rate, staff is always friendly.
The reason for subtracting one star is that I forgot my laptop charger in my room and noticed it two days later. I called around to figure out where I might have left it (there were several possibilities).
When I called the Delamar, the front desk told me that they had indeed found it and they would be glad to ship it if I paid the UPS charge…which I did.
My quibble: When they found the charger, why didn’t anyone call or email me? Isn’t that the reason why I had to update all my personal information when I checked in?
