Chris at the front desk was a great help. Went above and beyond to make sure our family was taken care of. My son and I took off for the baseball game. So my wife and daughter asked Chris where he’d recommend for dinner and that was a safe walk. He gave them detailed recommendations and things of which to be mindful.

I've traveled to Baltimore 20+ times. This has always been our favorite hotel to stay at. Mainly for the location and price. We've stayed at this hotel for more than 50% of our trips. I'm afraid we'll have to reconsider our choice next time. The hotel isn't what it once was. Here's the issues:
The AC did not work properly. The room was warm when we got there. We set the temperature at 65 degrees, to cool it down quickly. The room temperature never dropped below 75 degrees, although we left the AC at the 65 degree setting all weekend.
The hotel cleanliness was unsatisfactory. We saw trash that was never picked up in the walkway all weekend. Ashtrays overflowing all three days.
And there was hair in the tub and bathroom floor upon arrival.
Another change was the early check in fees. I'm not sure if this is happening everywhere now. But I had never been asked to pay $25 to check in 50 min early. It's difficult to travel 500 miles and arrive at exactly 3:00. If this is the new norm, so be it. But then, you should also expect a credit for every hour of early check out.
Last year, I was told about new ownership. I believe the new owners have lost my business...

Absolutely wonderful Manager Harry, accomodated us and our teams' luggage when we arrived early from our flights, so we could get over to our conference without worry. We highly recommend Days Inn for your stay in Baltimore. Plus its right across the street from convention center and in walking distance to restaurants and all the sights. We would like to see their breakfast improve.
