The hotel itself was nice, and the staff were friendly. The location had great restaurants, and it’s definitely a good place for families, especially those with kids. However, we had some issues that impacted our overall experience.
We were offered an upgrade to a suite, with the assurance that if we didn’t like it, we could switch back to our regular room. We accepted the upgrade, but unfortunately, the air conditioning in one of the rooms wasn’t working throughout the night. We reported the issue and were moved to another suite, but the same problem occurred. After two days of dealing with these air conditioning issues, we decided not to continue staying there, especially since we were paying a premium for a room that wasn’t functioning properly. When we communicated this to the office, they didn’t allow us to downgrade back to our original room. They apologized for the inconvenience and offered us spa credits, but they also asked us not to leave a bad review, which felt inappropriate.
Another issue was the time we spent on an offer they presented upon arrival. We were invited to a meeting to hear about vacation packages, promising bonuses and a visit to another hotel. We agreed to attend, but it ended up taking around five hours, which we regretted afterward.
Despite these frustrations, the experience was good overall. Just be cautious about the extra offers and be aware that not all rooms may be up to standard
