The hotels reception is on the second floor. Ground floor hosts a “Gentlemen’s club” I rather call it a strip club. Across the street there some other clubs with similar themes.
I had no clue when I made the reservations for me and my colleagues, that Schillerstrasse is the epicenter of redlight district in Munich. My colleagues made fun of this the whole stay “you did this on purpose. You knew!” Etc.
We were there on a bussiness trip (trade fair) and it was quite noisy from the Gents club and a f… riot outside on the street at 04 in the morning. It didn’t bother me much, but one of my colleagues could hardly sleep at all one of the nights.
The hotel was not expensive and you get what you pay for. For example, my room had only one light, the one in the sealing. My night light before sleep was the tv. Kick marks on the wall alongside of the bed (does this establishment rent out rooms by the hour?).
Doors missing from the shower cabin, so the floor in the bathroom became kind of flooded.
But it was clean, nice staff, not expensive and close to the central station.
