A quaint, clean, and cute apartment. We really enjoyed our stay here in Florence - the hosts are very communicative and offered lots of recommendations and support with the apartment. Highly recommend!

Bathroom was located up four VERY STEEP steps. It was never shown in the photos. There was a musty smell in the common area, from a small vacant room that had a door that would not close completely. It made both of us sneeze the entire times we were inside the unit. There was a kitchen with coffee maker and dishes, but no napkins, paper towels, kitchen towels or wash clothes except one sponge. The bed was very uncomfortable; the second most uncomfortable I've ever slept on (beat only by a hostel in Israel). The duvet was not inside the duvet cover but just underneath of it. There was no heat except on the a/c unit, though it was in the 50s or 60s most of the time we were in Florence and the apartment was made of old stone (making it colder). And the "heating" units only reached a comfortable level on the second day.

Potentially great but lacking lots of detail
The apartment is interesting - the bedroom is large and the bed comfortable but the bathroom is so tiny if you drop your soap in the shower you will not be able to pick it up - crazy when there is so much space in the kitchen. And you have to climb very awkward steps to get thee so anyone with poor mobility or weight issues would struggle. Also the kitchen is very poorly equipped with hardly any equipment and very little crockery or utensils - a shame as the apartment could be wonderful with better attention to detail - a little coffee, tea, sugar or little items on arrival would make such a difference but we didn’t feel valued.
