To begin with the conclusion: this hotel is very close to Hoan Kiem Lake and the church.
There are two supermarkets nearby, and you can still dash out to restock before 7 a.m. on the day you go home.
The breakfast was delicate and delicious, and the hotel staff were very friendly—especially Grace.
Although we only stayed for one night, we would still choose to stay here again next time we come to Hanoi.
Also, we were traveling with family this time—2 adults and 2 children, with one child only 2 years old.
We booked a room online that included breakfast for three people, but we were still charged extra for the 2-year-old, saying it was over the occupancy limit.
Even if the 2-year-old sleeps in the same bed with the parents in a double room, there's still an extra charge.
The fee wasn’t high, but at the hotels we stayed at earlier in Hanoi, our 2-year-old child was not charged, so we found it a bit unacceptable.
That said, everything else was great, and the service staff were all wonderful, so this small downside can be overlooked.
All in all, we still recommend staying here.
