We stayed three nights in a row to ski. The hotel staff was friendly and the rooms themselves were clean, but the facilities were very dated throughout. The food is a buffet style with standard items. The meals themselves were very carefully prepared and good. Rental skis and ski lift tickets cannot be purchased without going to Ichinose Family Ski Resort. Also, there is no refrigerator or glasses in the room, so you cannot store or drink beverages purchased outside. The large bathroom is old.
Was short walk to ski lifts but the hotel is very old and run down but clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was poor, even for Japanese standards. The only food options in the whole village at the time we stayed was the convenience store and the ski-lift ramen shop.
