Not the best experience..
We stayed here several times when it was still the Red Lion. This was our first "Hotel Lulu" experience. There were 3 adult women staying in this room. Upon check-in we were informed that the room had to be paid in full, and no cash accepted. This is the first hotel to have me pay up front vs upon check-out, and the first hotel to not accept cash. The person at the front desk spoke really fast and we had to ask her to repeat herself several times. She didn't look very happy to be there.
Once we got to our room the bathroom sink was clogged and filling with water, and we found a prescription pill bottle from the previous person who stayed in the room, which tells me it wasn't cleaned properly. We returned the pill bottle to the front desk and left for the day. Upon return we could see that maintenance came in and fixed the sink. Maintenance also left the toilet seat up (again, no men were in the room with us - just us 3 women) and left dirt on the bathroom floor. The next morning we went downstairs to grab coffee. They charged more for a 12oz to-go coffee cup than the IHOP next door charges for a 16oz to-go coffee. So every day we went to IHOP for coffee, and for a couple of meals. Our beds were hard and we all had sore backs in the mornings. Ultimately, we will not be staying at Hotel Lulu again. We've stayed in several Anaheim hotels and I think we can get a better value elsewhere.
