I rarely leave reviews, but I cannot let this slide by.
I had a rental for 1 night and I ended up paying for parking, $12, plus a $102 fine for their screw up!
I had just gotten the rental returning to the hotel on day 2 of my stay about 7ish PM. I went to the counter to get a pass. I then returned to the car to put the pass in the windshield, but here is this guy writing up cars - he was writing up the car next to mine having just completed mine. He goes 'sorry, I can't do anything about', but that I should go inside and they'll void it at the front desk. Front desk asked me to call the number on the ticket. I call and nobody answers. I left a voice mail with all the details (time, place, name, license #, etc...) and asked for a call back next day. The callback never came so I called the next day and was told I was 37 in line. 1.5 hours later my turn came to be told there is nothing they can do about it, but that they would be willing to settle by having me pay the fine, $102, to then give me a $20 "credit". I politely declined.
So, I parked in the lot for one night, I paid a $12 pass AND $102 fine for the same night - I'm repeating myself.
Will be filling complain with BBB. The main fault lies with the hotel. They simply don't give a s*it about their customers being screwed over by their parking lot "contactor service" as they call them.
