My room was on a high floor as I had requested and I had foam pillows, so I was very happy. The room was spacious enough to not feel crowded. The bathtub was old and crusty but was clean with good water pressure The air unit had its blower combs busted out, but worked with heat, cold and fan. Housekeeping cleaned each day.
There were vending machines for food/drinks/snacks but I did not use them. There was coffee in the lobby. There's an amazing bakery up the street, and an Italian and Thai restaurant across the street that were great. A grocery store and the Metro subway was two blocks away.
There were non-guests hanging in the lobby and outside which was not great but they did not bother me or other guests. The front desk staff either ignored me or took a lot of time to help whoever was in front of me with their reservations. I got frustrated on the two times I tried to get help and just left after waiting more than five minutes. I just needed change to leave the housekeeper a tip
If I am in the part of town again, I would book at the hotel again. I just needed a clean room, working shower and access to food and transportation. I had what I needed and with my room requests fulfilled, I had a good stay.
