Christmas in Pittsburgh
Check in was easy. Staff members were pleasant and helpful. They provided a map of downtown area and shared info about locations of Christmas attractions and shuttle info for Steelers game.
Even valet parking went well.
I had 2 rooms, one for my young adult twins and one for my friend and I. One key to my room worked initially, to let us in, but when I went back out the door, it didn't work anymore. The other key never worked. I went downstairs and they made new keys. These didn't witk either. I went downstairs again. This time the manager came back to the room with me. She scanned her key, then scanned my newest set of keys. This time they worked!
The popcorn popper started at about 4:00 and soft drinks were available on tap. The popcorn was delicious!! I didn't enjoy the kickback menu offerings, with the exception of the salad and dressings. Others seemed to enjoy the items. The breakfast was pretty good complimentary breakfast fare, and held me over well into game time.
I enjoyed the location of the hotel, with its proximity to bridges, Christmas attractions, Steelers stadium, Pirates stadium, and a variety of restaurants.
My friend enjoyed the hot tub while the kids and I walked around and saw the Christmas attractions and downtown Pittsburgh.
